Moving to Australia

I hope that regular readers will forgive this extremely rare personal post…

About a year ago, my wife and I made the decision to move to Australia. She’s Australian and the kids have dual citizenship.

After a decade in the US, we figured that we’d try to move closer to her family (unfortunately, this entails moving away from my family, so this is a bittersweet change).

Today my visa was granted, so we’re planning to make the move in January.

After that, Save the Semicolon will continue as always, but posts will be coming from the southern hemisphere.

Oh, and anyone who wants to hire a tech communicator in Australia should get ready, ’cause here I come!

Let me know if you do get over there again, Scott. It’d be good to meet up.
